Caltech Bone Health study recruiting paid participants

November 17, 2022

GPS scientists, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Francois Tissot, are recruiting participants for their study examining a new, non-invasive technique for measuring changes in bone health, using calcium isotopes. Participation involves submitting a urine sample and completing a brief questionnaire, with $10 compensation per sample. The study is open to most adults, including non-Caltech members, regardless of health background.

To participate, pick up a sample collection kit from one of the study booths at Red Door Cafe (every Tuesday 11AM–2PM) or Charles Arms Laboratory (every Thursday, 11AM – 2PM).

Further details about the study and how to participate can be found by visiting bonehealth.caltech.edu or by emailing the study team at [email protected].
