I am always interested in hearing from qualified applicants for graduate or post-doctoral study. I look primarily for breadth of training and skill in the geologic fundamentals of stratigraphy, geomorphology and geochronology.

In Geology at Caltech we have one department-wide post-doctoral position each year. The Division also offers two endowed post-doctoral positions each year.

Applications for graduate school can be accessed through the Caltech Grad Office.

I am also interested in summer work with Caltech undergraduate students in geology and certain other fields. See the SURF web page for more information.

Please e-mail me if you are interested in any of these opportunities.
