I am a geobiology graduate student in the Kirschvink lab at the California Institute of Technology. I am a biogeomagnetist: My primary scientific research interests are in the history of climate and global biogeochemical cycling on Earth (and perhaps other planets) and the lessons that history might bear about the future of the Earth system. My main research techniques are rock magnetism, paleomagnetism, and kindred geophysical methods.
I also have strong interests in politics and public policy. I'm president of the Caltech Democratic Club and technology chair of the Pasadena Young Democrats.
