Graduate Student in Physics, 3rd year Hometown: Buffalo, NY Education: BS Physics, UCSD 1996; MS Physics, Caltech 1999 Current Research: Pluto-Charon Spectroscopy
Research Activites:
Pluto-Charon NICMOS observations Working with Richard Terrile and Christophe Dumas at JPL, we are attempting to determine the surface constituents of Pluto and Charon separately through reflectance spectroscopy. Grism images of the Pluto-Charon binary, taken with NICMOS camera 3, in three wavelength bands (0.96, 1.41, and 2.06 um) will presumably reveal separate surface features on these bodies.
Low-mass Stars Revealed by 2MASS Working with Davy Kirkpatrick in IPAC, we are examining low-mass stellar and sub-stellar objects identified by the ongoing 2MASS survey.
