Investigations of candidate deep planetary materials at high-pressure and high-temperature in an effort to understand terrestrial-type planetary evolution


Sound velocities of candidate deep Earth materials under extreme conditions and comparisons with seismological observations


Electronic state of iron in deep Earth materials to understand transport properties under extreme conditions


Dynamic behavior in minerals, such as elastic mode softening, as they undergo phase transitions and their relationship with seismic observations


Exploration of new spectroscopic techniques for the study of planetary interiors
