I am currently a graduate student working with John on understanding the ecological and oceanographic conditions associated with a section of deep-water, silica-rich rocks from Oman that span the Precambrian/Cambrian boundary. I am also working with John Eiler studying the internal ordering of isotopes within carbonates and phosphates (‘clumped’ isotope geochemistry). I am broadly interested in Earth’s history and the coevolution of the Earth’s surface and biosphere.
