Next theatre trip:

"Leading Ladies" by Ken Ludwig at the Sierra Madre Playhouse.

Discount tickets (subsidized by the CPA) are only $10 (normal price $20+).

Playing most Friday and Saturday evenings, with Sunday matinees, from now until February 23rd.

No date as yet, but e-mail me if you're interested in coming along!

Most recent trip:

"The Foreigner" by Larry Shue at the Glendale Centre Theatre.

Wednesday January 23rd at 8pm (we left campus at 6pm and had dinner first in Glendale).

Tickets cost $13.50 per person. Carpool drivers received a $5 gift card.

This farce is set at a Georgia fishing lodge which is visited by a British sergeant and his shy English friend, Charlie. The sergeant declares to all that Charlie is a foreigner and speaks no English (so he won't have to carry on conversations). It's what Charlie overhears - but shouldn't have - that fuels the non-stop hilarity and sets up the wildly funny climax!

Very, very funny, and a great evening's entertainment, despite the need to drive there in heavy rain!
