During the past, I have been working on several projects in seismo lab at Caltech.

  1. Subduction zone great earthquakes and its associations with fore-arc gravity and topography.

  2. Rapid transition of lithosphere structure beneath the California, western tectonic United States.

  3. Remenant microplate of Farallon beneath the Gulf Peninsula.

  4. Uppermantle discontinuity structure beneath the Gulf of California.

  5. Uppermantle discontinuity structure beneath the northwestern United States.

  6. Slow event in the Gulf of California.

In addition, I was also involved in studies related to

  1. Seismogenic behaviors of Taiwan orogenic belt.

  2. Rupture velcoity of large earthquakes.
