Topics of interest to the environmental science and environmental engineering community are presented on Wednesday afternoons at 4 p.m. in 142 Keck Laboratory. Refreshments are served at 3:40 p.m. in the Keck Lobby.

Geology club seminars take place on Thursdays at 4 p.m. in the Buwalda Room (151 Arms Laboratory) throughout the academic year. The seminar series is organized and operated by third year graduate students pursuing degrees in geology and geochemistry. Its goal is to provide seminars covering new work in all aspects of the earth sciences for an audience with a wide range of backgrounds in an informal setting.

These seminars cover topics of interest in seismology and geophysics. Unless otherwise noted, seminars are held in the Benioff Room (256/58 South Mudd) Fridays at 4 p.m.
Mineral Physics Luncheon (MPL) is an informal seminar series organized to share research results and understanding about earth and planetary materials among researchers. MPL is normally held on Wednesdays at noon in the Gutenberg Library (256 South Mudd). Sandwiches and soft drinks are served.
This is an informal seminar series that covers a broad range of topics within the field of geophysics. Graduate students and postdocs are highly encouraged to present their research at a brownbag seminar. Seminars take place in 215 North Mudd on Wednesdays at noon. Free lunch is often provided!
