Earthquake dynamics: earthquake nucleation, dynamic rupture, strong motion, earthquake physics, bimaterial rupture, slow earthquakes, tectonic tremor; earthquake seismology: microearthquake and tremor studies, Empirical Green's functions methods, array techniques for source imaging, seismic experiments in Peru and Chile; numerical methods for rupture dynamics and wave propagation: spectral element methods, boundary element methods; seismic hazard and risk assessment: numerical simulation of earthquake scenarios, microtremor/array methods, integral/multidisciplinary approaches.
