Donald V. Helmberger

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Seismic wave propagation and the inversion of waveforms to recover detailed information about earthquake characteristics and earth structure; particularly interested in mapping ultra-low velocity zones at the Core-Mantle Boundary and Inner-Core structure.
