New Tools for Understanding Mitigating Rock Falls in Yosemite National Park

Speaker's Bio:
Greg Stock is the first-ever Park Geologist at Yosemite National Park. He has a BS from Humboldt State University and PhD from UC Santa Cruz in geology and earth science, and was a researcher at the University of Michigan prior to accepting his job at Yosemite in 2006. Greg’s research interests are in geomorphology, including river and glacial erosion and the resulting hillslope response through rock falls, rock slides, and debris flows.
