The research team will be headed by Dr. Victoria Orphan (along with Dr. Christopher House, Penn State).

	Victoria Orphan, Ph.D., assistant professor will be directing all research activities and supervising several graduate and undergraduate students at Caltech. She is also an expert in the microbial ecology of methane seep environments.
