Assistant Professor of Seismology

We invite applications for a tenure track faculty position in seismology at the assistant professor level. Initial appointment is for four years. Completion of the Ph.D. is required. Candidates of extraordinary ability and potential for innovation and leadership in research and teaching in any area of seismology are encouraged to apply.  We are especially interested in individuals whose research naturally links with research programs in the Division, which covers the full spectrum of the earth and planetary sciences.  This solicitation is particularly interested in observational seismology but is not limited to this field.  Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
