Postdoctoral Position in Planetary Science

The Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences at the California Institute of Technology is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral position in observational planetary astronomy as part of an approved large program on the high resolution infrared spectroscopy of protoplanetary disks using the NIRSPEC and CRIRES echelle instruments at the Keck telescopes and the VLT. Candidates with a strong background in infrared astronomy, disk evolutionary models, and/or radiative transfer are especially encouraged to apply. Completion of the PhD by the beginning of the appointment is required. Materials in support of an application should include a curriculum vitae, list of publications, and a one-page statement of research interests.
